Bengkulu — The Head of Class IIA Bengkulu Correctional Facility (Kalapas), Julianto Budhi Prasetyono, attended the official handover and farewell ceremony of the Head of Class I Bengkulu Probation Office (Bapas), from the outgoing official, Yusep Antonius, to the newly appointed Head, Aidil Jumidi, on Thursday (April 23).

The solemn event marked an important moment in ensuring leadership continuity and strengthening institutional performance within the correctional environment, particularly at Bapas Class I Bengkulu. The ceremony was also attended by structural officials and staff from the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections Bengkulu, along with heads of Correctional Technical Implementation Units (UPT).

On this occasion, Kalapas Bengkulu expressed his highest appreciation to Yusep Antonius for his dedication and service during his tenure. He also conveyed his hopes that the new Head, Aidil Jumidi, would continue and enhance the achievements that have been established.

“Leadership transition is a natural process within an organization as part of performance strengthening and renewal. We hope the new leadership will bring innovation and renewed spirit in carrying out correctional duties,” said Julianto.

Meanwhile, in his remarks, Aidil Jumidi expressed his commitment to continuing ongoing programs and strengthening synergy with all stakeholders to support the optimal implementation of probation functions.

The event concluded with the presentation of tokens of appreciation, a friendly gathering, and a group photo session as a symbol of respect and unity within the Bengkulu correctional community.
