A story of three eggers

Another made up story using Unsplash images — day 4 of free flow writing but with images

We are three eggers in a nest. Oldest, middle, and youngest.

The oldest ends up in frying pan for breakfast. It is voluntary offering itself to protect its family.

Now there are two of us left. We are getting closer to each other. We tell story and share memory about our oldest egger.

The middle is a curious egg. It likes to explore the surrounding but in careless way. It challenges itself to sit at the edge of a cliff.

Unfortunately, it slips. It is performing a free fall motion. Gravity pulls it down to the floor. It collides the floor and cracks.

I am the last one in the nest, the youngest. I try to survive to become the full creature.

It is safer to just stay quiet and calm to avoid unessary caualties. Back to nest is the best idea. I feel very lonely, though.

Finally, I am out and ready to explore the world as chicken and not as egg.

I see another chicken waiting for its egger to hatch. It would be happier if three of us are here now, wouldn’t it?

That’s all. It is the story about us, three eggers. I am the only survivor, who is able to tell the story.
