A handful of grapes and two pieces of cheese
aka the breakfast of champions

I don’t love cooking. I’ve done plenty of it, from restaurant jobs to dinner parties, and have even managed to make something good enough that multiple people asked me for the recipe, and yet… I still don’t love cooking.
Especially when I wake up in the morning. My throat is usually dry and scratchy from a night of mouth-breathing, so I wake up wanting something cold. Iced coffee, yes. Hot eggs where the whites are a little undercooked so it looks like snot? No thank you.
Instead, I’ve discovered a cold, delicious breakfast which requires no cooking and in fact is ready as quickly as I can pull the two ingredients from my fridge: a few handfuls of green seedless grapes and two pieces of extra sharp cheddar cheese.
Grapes and cheese are an iconic pairing. Eating them together (especially if you leave the grapes on the vine and pluck them off with your teeth) will make you feel like an ancient Greek emperor.
The cold sweetness of the grapes cuts through the sharp creaminess of the cheese to create a perfect bite. No cooking required.
Highly recommend.
