Mother Of Chaos 💀

A snippet from the final book of my ‘Tilted Crown’ series. 👑🗡️

Pandora walked swiftly toward the worst mother of all, the very evil incarnate, the one who caused discord and strife among all. She had just spoken with this goddess’ children, the Banes of The Box. And now it was time to issue out another punishment. This was truly the day of retribution, Divine retribution and as much as this evil mother wished it her own govern. It was not. She was the opposite of that.

“Come out that I may send you to Hell!” Pandora shouted in a war cry manner. It was a tone that surprised even herself. She did not expect herself to arrive with such fury. She did not plan to deal out hellfire. But that is what was coming naturally. After all the Mother of Chaos deserved that and more.

Eris, goddess of Discordia and mother of the Banes stopped in her tracks and turned to face the first woman of creation. A smirk played across her red glossed lips. “You have come to me at last. And with that rage. I am surprised.” she said in her wicked tone. A maniacal laugh followed and filled the cave-like atmosphere. Echoing around Pandora but she showed no fear.

“You are angry with me…?” Eris asked playfully as she turned to face her with her whole body.

“Beyond that!” the first woman shouted. She gripped a sword at her side and that was when Chaos noticed it.

“You come at me with blade and iron?” she was a bit more worried now but also intrigued. “My, I am a little more interested now. You are not a hopeless pushover anymore.”

“I never was!” Pandora snapped coldly. Eris could feel that ice and that seriousness but she did not wince. What became of her children? She desperately wanted to know but she did not want to appear weak and worried in front of the Pandora who came so fierce.

“Helion has fallen.” Eris opted to change the subject.

“No, Helion is rising.” Pandora said firmly. “You’re falling.” and with that she gripped the sword and raised it up swiftly.

(I wrote a series called Remnant about the Olympian Gods living in modern times as mortals with amnesia, then awakening and gearing up for the final battle of Armageddon. And then a spin-off series called Tilted Crown about the Roman Empire returning in the modern times after the Olympians gained dominion again. This snippet is from the final book of both series ⚔️)
