On the night of January 27, 1986, a group of engineers gathered in a conference room with one mission: convince NASA to delay the Space Shuttle Challenger launch. Visualization Won’t Always Save Lives, But It Always Shapes Outcomes

Most of us will never make decisions involving rocket launches or life-critical engineering systems. But even in more ordinary contexts, in business strategy, policy design, product decisions, or research -visualization shapes the paths we take.
