A Light That Never Stopped Shining

One peaceful night, the moon hid behind a blanket of clouds. Though its silver light still reached the earth, it felt lonely and sad.

A young girl went to her rooftop to study. As a gentle breeze moved through the trees, she noticed the moon seemed unhappy.

To her surprise, the moon spoke. "I feel so lonely. I shine every night, but I have no family or friends beside me."

The girl smiled and said, "Don't be sad. You do something beautiful. You brighten the darkness, guide travelers, and comfort dreamers. Your light helps me study every night, and it brings peace to many others too."

Then she added, "Friends may come and go, but you have given light to the world for generations. Never forget your worth because of loneliness."

The moon's sadness faded. Its glow grew brighter, and it smiled with happiness.

"Thank you," the moon whispered. "True value is not measured by who stands beside us, but by how much light we bring to others."

From that night on, the moon shone proudly, knowing even a lonely light can brighten the world.
