I Miss You!

I miss you like a traveller in a desert, longing for a drop of water and shade in the scorching, piercing rays of the sun.

I miss you every second and in every way; your thoughts are bittersweet, and I taste them every day.

I miss you, and I’m utterly sad, or this is the world that has been quiet to me now — only silence outside and your laughter, loud in my head.

I miss you, and the last time I hugged you, I realised it’s the only thing I ever want again. I miss you the second you leave me, and every moment you're away, my heart falls into despair and waits to hold you again.

I miss you and can’t do my things, as if it’s only you I want to think about. Everything is sad and boring, even the weather cries and shouts. I fear I’ll die of sorrow.

I miss you, and the days we don’t talk; I still talk to you in my head.

I miss you, and I can’t help myself. I look at the sky and feel envious that it has you.

I miss you, and I can’t live without you. The grief is inexpressible, and still, there is much I want to say, but I don’t know how.

Your absence hurts the most, and I wish you could be with me right now.
