India and Pakistan

Hello, first of all, I should explain what to expect. I am writing this to align facts and clear any misinformation and confusion. I will try my best, though it will be hard to stay unbiased, and I will be open to any criticism or remarks and try to fix it if I get something wrong.

Starting

First, we have to know where this started, which one could point to the Pahalgam attack, the Balochistan separatists, and conspiracies of it being funded by the Indian government, and it appears that BNA is the earlier of the 2

Balochistan separatists: -

The Balochistan separatists are a group of terrorist organizations based in Balochistan with the goal of an independent Balochistan, using terrorist measures such as suicide bombing. The conspiracy, which was later confirmed, claimed that the BLA was funded by the Indian government.

In December 2023, a commander of the Baloch National Army (BNA) separatist militant group, who had surrendered himself to the Pakistani government, disclosed that India has been secretly supporting terrorist activities in Balochistan and financing separatist forces in the region.

Pahalgham:

Taking place on the 22nd of April 2025 in Pahalgham, which is a popular Indian tourist spot, was faced with a terrorist attack from a Muslim group of 3 people who came in and killed 25 Hindus and one Muslim who tried to fight them off to protect the innocents known as the Syed Adil Hussain Shah. Their motives seemed to be to avenge their Punjabi fellows who died at the hands of the BNA. India blames Pakistan for this, though Pakistan denies the claims and asks for investigations by either one of the 2 countries or an international 3rd party, all of which were rejected. A few questions arise, though: where was the army when this was happening, how did they come in, massacre, and leave within a few minutes, with most blaming the BJP party for the lack of security. Regardless, this was a horrible and cowardly attack on innocent Indians.

Retaliation

Operation Sindoor:

7th May 2025, Wednesday India bombs 9 Pakistani locations, claiming it to be “justice” for them and claiming to attack terrorist bases in the attack, although they caused the deaths of at least 31 civilians, including 4 children, and injured 57 others. This was titled “Operation Sindoor.” On top of this, firing broke out at the line of control, for which reports indicate that at least 12 Indian and 5 Pakistani civilians were killed during these exchanges. In retaliation, Pakistan shot down 2 Indian aircraft and 12 Indian drones during their response. During the early hours of my 10th, 2025, India attacks 3 Pakistani air bases, including Nur Khan airbase. All three airbases faced moderate losses.

Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos:

In the early morning of 10th May 2025, Pakistan launched operation Bunyan al Masoor, which targeted multiple airbases. Pakistan believes that it was successful in greatly damaging airbases, though India has denied these claims, and 3rd party news sources have reported little to no damage on airbases and missile storage facilities, except 5 military facilities with the most significant losses being 21 civilian lives.

Ceasefire

Around 10–12 hours after Bunyan al Maroos a ceasefire was declared between the 2 nations though it was violated just 3 hours later with either nation blaming the other for the violation though it later came out that the drones spotted after the ceasefire were deployed before it was announced and the firing at a remote part of the border did not stop due to information not reaching them until much later

War memes

This is not a showcase of war memes, but more so my grievance towards the Indian people. This is a more biased section and not based on official facts, but rather personal observations, so take it with a grain of salt.

As I saw posts of civilian deaths on social media platforms it appeared that Indians were celebrating Pakistani losses of innocent lives with the comment section of posts mourning the loss of Itrtiza Abbas Turi who was a 7-year-old child being flooded with Indians saying “Pakistan is playing the victim card” and “He was a future terrorist anyway” though I saw no Pakistani celebrating death of innocent Indians after the Pahalgam attack.

Ending

I tried to be as unbiased as possible, and all my information is from 3rd party sources, including Global Times, NY York Times, The Guardian, and Wikipedia, and if you have any complaints or if you want me to edit it, then contact me at: @codehouse4059 on Instagram.
