Three Different Polls Show Voters Miss Biden

Back in Biden’s term, I constantly heard people talking about how Biden’s polling had reached record lows. After his poor performance in the debate with Trump, he decided to give the reigns over to Kamala. She was a good choice but wasn’t able to fix things.

Now though, three different polls are saying that voters miss Biden only a year after Trump won the popular vote in the 2024 election.

According to Axios, a poll from Harvard CAPS/Harris shows 51% of voters think Trump is worse than Biden. A poll from YouGov shows 47% think Biden was better, 40% thin Trump is better and 7% think they’re the same.

The most surprising result though is from Rasmussen, an infamously pro-Trump polling firm.

They say 48% of likely voters think Biden did better while 40% think Trump did, and 8% think they did the same.

I remember the pollster G Elliott Morris had claimed a while back that Trump’s purported coalition of people of color, young people and the working class had shifted 25 points to the Left since Trump had started his second term.

I’m also reminded of a poll that said the 30% least engaged voters went to Trump.

That night Trump won, everyone was panicking because nobody could work out just how Trump had won. He had no policy on the economy. He refused to claim any connection to the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 but that was the closest thing anyone could find to some sort of policy coming from his campaign.

A few people wanted to blame Dems for becoming too elitist, arguing that “wokeness” had alienated the working class.

But Trump gave them the most anti-woke administration ever and now they’re turning against him.

I don’t think there’s any real logic to Trump’s win and there’s no lesson for Dems.

This is the ongoing problem Dems face, they keep trying to figure out real solutions to Americans’ problems but then Americans go and choose Republicans. We try to explain this by saying Republicans never win the popular vote but why would they even get the electoral college?

Why would they win independents and moderate states?

If there’s no logic here, I just have a problem trying to pin any blame on Dems.

Dems are the only ones trying to listen to what the voters say, Republicans just scream until and wait until they get their way.
