أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

Ulaaaikal lazeenash tarawul hayaatad dunyaa bil aakhirati falaa yukhaffafuanhumul `azaabu wa laa hum yunsaroon.

They have traded the life hereafter in exchange for their worldly life. Their punishment will not be eased nor will they receive help.

یہ وہ بدقسمت لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے آخرت کی ابدی زندگی کے عوض دنیوی (فانی) زندگی خرید لی ہے پس نہ ہی ان کے عذاب میں کوئی تخفیف کی جائے گی اور نہ ہی ان کی کوئی مدد کی جائے گی۔

اینها همان کسانند که آخرت را به زندگی دنیا فروخته‌اند؛ از این رو عذاب آنها تخفیف داده نمی‌شود؛ و کسی آنها را یاری نخواهد کرد.

ये वह लोग हैं जिन्हांेने आख़िरत को देकर दुनिया ख़रीद ली है अब न उनके अज़ाब में तख़्फ़ीफ़ (कमी) होगी और न उनकी मदद की जायेगी

Disse er det som har kjøpt jordelivet på bekostning av det hinsidige. Det blir ingen lettelse i straffen for dem. De kan ikke hjelpes.

Pooya Ali Commentary:

They who bought the life of this world for personal gain and fulfilment of their treacherous designs by using unfair, wicked and brutal means to suppress and usurp the rights of the Ahl ul Bayt, are included among those who shall be punished in the hereafter.
