Floccus: bookmark synchronization between browsers
In this post I want to share a tool that has genuinely simplified my daily browsing: Floccus.

If you’re anything like me, you probably switch between multiple browsers across different devices and platforms. In my case, I use both Google Chrome and Firefox every day, and I also juggle several profiles — personal and work — on each. The downside of this setup is obvious: bookmarks end up scattered everywhere.
I needed a way to unify all my bookmarks into a single, consistent place, and that’s exactly what Floccus provides. It lets me bring together both my personal and professional bookmarks so they’re always accessible, no matter which browser or account I’m using. With a few well-organized folders, everything stays clean and separated. For someone using multiple browsers on both personal and work profiles, having one consolidated list is a game changer.
Floccus works as a browser extension or add-on. Once installed, you set up the sync and choose where your data should be stored — Google Drive in my case. From there, Floccus handles everything automatically, keeping your bookmark bar identical across all browsers and devices.
Before Floccus, I tried Raindrop.io, which is also a solid option. However, Raindrop behaves more like a standalone bookmark manager and doesn’t integrate directly into the bookmark bar, which for me was a limitation.
If you deal with bookmark chaos across multiple browsers, Floccus is definitely worth trying.
