Subscan April 2025 Release: New Networks, Cleaner Interface, and Better EVM Support

April has been a busy month at Subscan! From integrating new networks to refining our UI and performance, we’ve rolled out improvements to make your blockchain exploration faster, clearer, and more actionable — whether you’re tracking governance, decoding transactions, or analyzing assets across chains.
Let’s dive into what’s new 👇
- New Network Integrations
We’ve expanded our support to include several new networks across the Substrate and Polkadot ecosystems:
- GASP
- Heima
- AssetHub Next (Westend) (Testnet)
- Dancelight
- Coretime Paseo
- People Paseo
You can now explore blocks, accounts, governance, and tokens across these new additions.
2. Performance & UX Improvements
- Removed on-page ads for a cleaner, distraction-free user experience.
- Faster page load times across all explorer pages.
- Enhanced frontend and API-level monitoring to catch issues earlier and ensure uptime.
3. ERC-20 Token Price Display Now Supported

ERC-20 token price display is now supported across multiple networks. You can now view token balances along with their USD value, covering both native and ERC-20 tokens — providing clearer portfolio insights at a glance.
4. User Feedback Button Added
We’ve added a prominent “Feedback” button across various pages. Whether it’s bugs or suggestions, we want to hear from you — directly, easily, and in context.
5. DeFi Aggregation Links

The Portfolio view now includes quick-access buttons to Stake Now / Claim Rewards, making it easier to act on your DeFi assets directly from your dashboard.
6. ERC-1155 Quantity Display Now Available
https://dbc.subscan.io/token/0xfdb11c63b82828774d6a9e893f85d1998e6b36bf?tab=holders
Subscan now supports displaying the quantity of ERC-1155 tokens held by each address across supported networks.
This improvement provides better visibility into the distribution and holding patterns of multi-token standards like ERC-1155.
7. Treasury Proposal Display Improvements
https://polkadot.subscan.io/referenda_v2/1487
We’ve redesigned treasury proposal views to prioritize key information like requested amount, USD equivalent, and destination, while folding redundant parameters for better clarity.
8. Gov V2 Support for Hydration & Basilisk
Both Hydration and Basilisk now support Referenda V2, and we’ve added an interactive Origin Distribution chart.
Each origin (e.g. Treasury, GeneralAdmin, Root) is now clickable — allowing users to filter and view all referenda initiated under that specific origin.
9. Optimized EVM Input Data Display

Long EVM input data is now collapsed by default, with a “View All” button to expand when needed.
10. Cookie Prompt UI Update
We’ve made the cookie agreement popup less intrusive, improving first-time browsing experience without compromising clarity.
11. XCM Flow Visualization — Mobile Optimized
https://polkadot.subscan.io/xcm_dashboard
XCM Asset Flow charts are now mobile-friendly, with smoother interaction and cleaner rendering.
12. Storage Change Viewer Pagination Fix
https://polkadot.subscan.io/block/25714429?tab=state_tracing&&trace=25714429-600
Fixed a bug where State Tracing incorrectly displayed storage-diff data when the page was opened via a direct URL.
13. Fixed: Profile Privacy Setting Bug
https://pro.subscan.io/profile
Previously, setting your profile to public or private had no effect — your display remained unchanged. This bug is now fixed. When you toggle your profile to public, it will correctly sync across all Subscan-supported networks. When set to private, your avatar and social links will be hidden as expected.
14. EVM Account Lists Now Available Across Networks
Subscan now provides EVM Account Lists across multiple networks that support EVM functionality. This allows users to browse addresses tagged with the EVM role, ranked by token balances or activity.
You can access this via:
- The “EVM” dropdown in the navigation bar → EVM Accounts
https://astar.subscan.io/account_list?role=evm
- The Account Role module under network explorers
https://astar.subscan.io/account
This feature is ideal for researchers, developers, and anyone analyzing token holders and smart contract activity across EVM-compatible parachains.
15. Hydration Token History Support
Users can now switch between tokens on the Hydration account balance history page to analyze historical data for any token they’ve interacted with.
Thanks for reading! We’ll keep shipping to make Subscan more insightful, actionable, and accessible — across every parachain, every wallet, and every user.
