Bitcoin traded around $7,300 at the beginning of 2020. Today, it is trading at around $107,000.

In about five years, the king of crypto has a net increase of over 1,550%.

Where can you find such an investment opportunity besides real estate?

During that period, it has reached all-time highs on more than a dozen occasions. Granted, the price fell each time, but that is the nature of the market.

Pay attention to how short the bounces are, except during the Crypto winter in 2022 and 2023.

Why is it important?

It is essential because it shows Bitcoin's resilience despite the many market uncertainties that occurred during that time.

It is important because with each bounce, it found a new floor to bounce higher from.

It is essential because the current cycle mirrors the past five years — Bitcoin bounces up, then down, and back up again.

Bitcoin has yet to fade away due to the enduring value of the Cryptoverse.

"Bitcoin is the gold of the digital world — it's scarce, valuable, and here to stay."

"Investing in Bitcoin is like investing in gold, but with the added benefits of being faster, cheaper, and more secure."

Arif Naseem, Cryptographer and Blockchain Developer

Bitcoin continues to lead the way for the nearly 9,000 altcoins (crypto other than Bitcoin) in circulation.

The question is, what do you do about it?

  1. Research

Depending on your risk tolerance, consider investing in Bitcoin or Ethereum.

These are the top two trading coins for longevity.

If you are more risk-minded, you might consider the following:

· Chainlink (LINK)

· Cardano (ADA)

· Polkadot (DOT)

· Polygon (MATIC)

· Solana (SOL)

Explore their website:

Who is in charge?

What problem are they solving?

How actively is the coin trading?

What are they saying about the future?

Search social media:

How much chatter is there?

What is the chatter about?

What is the feeling about the project?

Find current news:

What is being said?

What is the sentiment about the coin?

Run a search on a search engine?

What are the experts saying about it?

What concerns are they expressing?

Look at market investment publications?

Check out the news on the platform you have decided on

Check out coingecko.com

Coingecko is a free site that offers much information about your coin(s).

There are other sites, but I suggest starting with them.

  1. Determine how much to invest

The beauty of the cryptoverse is how little you need to get started. Obviously, the larger the investment, the larger the return.

If you are risk-averse, allocate 50% to 60% to Bitcoin and the remainder to Ethereum.

If you are more risk-tolerant, put 50% into Bitcoin, 40% in Ethereum, and 10% into an altcoin.

  1. Decide on a platform

I suggest using a centralized platform like Coinbase or Crypto.com.

Platforms like these have proven to be stable, weathering the ups and downs of the cryptoverse.

They provide easy access to your desired coins.

  1. Buy a wallet

If you use a centralized platform (like those above), a wallet may not be necessary (at least in the beginning).

  1. Develop an entry and exit strategy

Next to solid research, developing an entry and exit strategy is the most essential part of your investment planning.

For example, had you bought Bitcoin in early 2020 (no matter the amount you purchased) and sold it when your investment doubled, you would have had a sweet return on investment.

Had you bought it after the crash of 2021 and sold it in June of 2023, you would have realized a 72% return on investment — another sweet deal.

The point is, when you see your entry strategy, buy, and once you reach your exit strategy, sell.

It is a straightforward strategy that relies on simple observation. You pay daily attention to the market, and when your investment nears your exit price, you pay close attention until it is reached.

The above strategies are straightforward suggestions that point you in the right direction.

There is a window of opportunity to invest in the cryptoverse. Although (almost) anytime is a time, this opportunity has the value of weathering recent storms and political backlash. The market is trading sideways, which suggests lows are probably here and highs are a possibility.

Where I stand

I believe in you because I am like you.

I'm not a financial advisor.

I'm not a crypto millionaire.

I'm just a student of the cryptoverse — and I'm committed to sharing what I learn so others don't have to navigate it alone.

This isn't hype.

It's careful research, honest education, and real opportunity.

If this guide gave you clarity, here's how to keep going:

✅ Ask me questions anytime — I welcome them

✅ Start small, stay curious, and be consistent

Because Bitcoin isn't just an investment.

It's a mirror — reflecting how power, finance, and freedom are being completely redefined right now.

If you're reading this, you're already ahead of most.

Keep learning.

You're not late.

You're right on time.
