How high will the BJP Flag fly this election season?

The elections are near. No, they are actually upon us now.

Beginning on the 19th of April 2024, the 2024 elections have begun to swing to the full height. With all this going on, the people are restless, going out to vote for their favorite candidate and waiting for the results.

With this, they are also waiting to see which of the Indian political parties is going to make the government this time. Most of the trust still lies in the Bhartiya Janta Party. Much of it is due to the amazing and substantial work they have done for the improvement of the country.

Because of this, there are gazes of the citizens on the upcoming Gujarat elections.

Taking place on the 7th of May, 2024, the Gujarat elections would be one of the deciding factors as to how much influence the BJP still has.

Gujarat is the natal state of the party and as such, usually, the winner in the state elections is the party that is from that turf. There are many worthwhile leaders in the state elections this time. Especially from the BJP.

I think it is to be expected that the party would have great leaders, but these leaders are unexpectedly great.

Take, for example, Poonamben Maadam. She is a Jamnagar BJP candidate. Since the past two election rounds, she has won and become a Member of the Parliament.

Poonamben Maadam is a leader who embodies what true leaders are like. She has the appropriate care and drive to make sure that the citizens under her can live a life of purpose without worries. She has introduced schemes to help people receive proper water and electricity supply.

She has also worked towards improving the roads and the overall transport sector in the area has been affected by this. She is promoting ideals like -

  • Inclusivity for all
  • Reforming educational systems for children
  • Reforming the work environment for women

These little things show her nature of being an understanding leader who only wants the best.

With policies like these, is it not obvious who has the highest chance of winning the upcoming Jamnagar elections?

So in the upcoming battles of wits and understanding, who is going to be the winner of the war? There are no sides in this battle. Just each party put forward the best way to improve their turf in a manner that the people would agree to.

Will we be swayed by the mighty hand of the INC or the lotus that blossoms past the obstacles it is faced with?

Whichever it might be, though my own opinion is leaning towards the BJP’s win, it is worth noting that it is not the party that makes the leaders strong.

It is, in fact, quite the opposite.

It is the strong, competent leaders that make their party strong. Once it is established that the party has great leaders, the party becomes the backing for strong leaders.

This is a relationship where one is codependent with the other. It is a beauty of the Indian democratic system.

And honestly, it seems that the BJP Flag is still flying high above the rest.
