When waterfalls went yellow
An ode to Delhi’s summer treasure — the yellow Laburnum (Amaltas) trees

When the sun’s rays hit extra hard, and temperatures start to soar
A tiny bloom of yellow erupts from a sea of green, Leaving you gawking while at the door.
Also known as Delhi’s famous Laburnum Amaltas is our finest natural beauty
The exuberant shades of yellow, make for a sight so pretty.

It starts out shy, tender like a baby Then a vivacious adult — the life of the party
Thousands of yellow flowers cascade treating eyes at every corner of the city.
Is it the sun illuminating the trees, or are the trees lending it their brilliance?
God really paused to create this spectacle, before he made heroes and villians.
Even their shed petals exude infinite grace, Like a carpet to welcome the divine
You can stare at these vivid hues for ages Still ain’t enough for a lifetime!
