How we created this app to find LGBTQIA+ housing resources & push back against HUD discrimination

The Crosshairs of the Trump Regime: LGBTQIA+ Rights and Housing

Current policy shifts target trans women for removal from homeless shelters, shredding the final thread of the safety net. This is the calculated exposure of vulnerable bodies to maximize state control. — Eyes On ICE

• The Exclusion Protocol: Proposed HUD shifts allow federally funded shelters to turn away individuals based on gender identity. This forces trans and non-binary people into a choice between state-sanctioned harassment in the wrong facility or life on the street.
• The Violence Multiplier: LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly Black and Brown trans women, face a significantly higher risk of physical and sexual abuse when forced out of congregate shelters.

I decided to create an app with housing resources for the LGBTQIA+ community along with a way for people to call their elected MAGA rep to stop this persecution. I used the free Make It Fast and was able to make the app in about 2 hours. Try it out on a phone or laptop.
