Can We Predict Our Future?
Why tendencies may exist, but certainty remains beyond our reach.

I think it is quite natural for human beings to be interested in future predictions. I genuinely understand why people love astrology, numerology, or Tarot cards. No one knows for sure whether these predictions are accurate, yet we continue to use these tools because our curiosity and desire to know what comes next are often stronger than our rational mind.
So, what do I think about future predictions? Is it possible to tell what will happen to humanity in ten years — or perhaps one hundred years — from now?
Individual Predictions
If someone tells you that you will die on a particular day in the future, you should be very skeptical. Yes, the approximate length of our lives may be planned to a certain extent.
Usually, the Higher Self decides whether a person will live a shorter or a longer life. A long life may mean seventy years or ninety years — no one knows for sure. Your actual lifespan will depend on your health habits, life circumstances, and personal choices because we still possess free will. Here, I would like to recommend my article on free will.
The important point is that not even your Higher Self necessarily knows the exact moment when your life will end. If a fortune teller claims that you will die exactly ten years from now, you should question their credibility rather than accept their prediction as truth.
The same applies to any prediction regarding your life. If someone gives you exact dates and exact events that will supposedly happen in the future, they are most likely mistaken.
A professional astrologer, numerologist, or Tarot reader will rarely speak in absolutes. Their work is usually based on tendencies, probabilities, and energetic conditions that may support certain activities or aspects of life. No one can know with certainty whether a particular tendency will eventually manifest as an event.
Human beings still possess free will. Regardless of the energetic influences surrounding us, we continue to make our own decisions and shape our lives through our choices.
To sum it up, nobody knows exactly what will happen to you ten years from now. Astrologers and other specialists may be able to identify certain tendencies and energetic patterns, but they cannot predict your future with absolute certainty.
Occasionally, when an event is very close, we may sense it through the lower layers of the Astral plane. However, in such cases we are usually talking about the near future — perhaps a few hours, a day, or sometimes several days ahead.
Collective Events
The same principle applies to collective events. No one can predict with certainty what will happen to the Earth one hundred years from now. We can discuss broad tendencies, but not specific events.
Nobody knows exactly when wars will begin or end. Some important collective events are hidden from us on purpose so that humanity can experience them naturally rather than attempt to alter their course in advance.
Remember the Coronavirus pandemic? Nobody truly saw it coming — not fortune tellers, not astrologers, not psychics. Perhaps some highly sensitive individuals noticed that something significant was approaching. Maybe a few skilled astrologers sensed unusual energetic patterns. Yet nobody knew exactly what form the event would take.
That single event changed humanity in countless ways. It was not an easy experience, but it became part of our collective evolution.
The future is not a finished book waiting to be read. It is more like a landscape of possibilities that gradually takes shape through billions of individual choices. We may sometimes glimpse the direction in which humanity is moving, but the details remain unwritten.
And perhaps that is exactly how it should be. If we knew every event in advance, life would lose much of its meaning. Uncertainty is not a flaw in the design of reality — it is what makes growth, discovery, and free will possible.
