Prerequisites for the exam

There are no prerequisites to prepare for and take this certification exam.

Certification Overview

• Exam format: 65 questions (multiple choice or multiple responses)
• Cost: 100 USD
• Expiry: The certification is valid for three years.

Prep Time

The required preparation time varies based on individual knowledge. An individual new to AWS may take a week or two to prepare. However, for those who have experience with AWS services, a day or two is enough.

I was pretty new to AWS services and had no experience with it. It took a little more than a week to prepare.
