Bridging Ecosystems: The Rewards Suite Grant and Our xChain-Powered Future
We did it, Algofam! 🎉
With the voting for the Rewards Suite xGov proposal successfully behind us, we are taking a moment to reflect on this massive milestone. As we’ve recently shared across our community channels, we are incredibly proud that our proposal has officially PASSED! We want to extend a massive thank you to every xGovernor who reviewed our vision and cast their vote, and to the entire community for their unwavering energy.
This successful proposal provides the critical funding needed to continue our development and solidifies our position as the only portfolio tracking website and API provider on the Algorand blockchain.
Understanding xChain: The Key to Interoperability
While we celebrate this grant, another breakthrough is changing the landscape of Algorand: xChain Accounts.

Interact with Algorand dApps using an EVM wallet
Recently introduced to the ecosystem, xChain Accounts seamlessly bridge the gap between blockchain domains by mapping EVM addresses to native Algorand accounts through on-chain ECDSA signature verification. For the user, this means total accessibility — interacting with Algorand dApps using the EVM wallets they already know and love (like MetaMask or via RainbowKit) without installing new extensions or switching networks.
ASA Stats has already moved to support this, allowing users to enter their EVM address directly into our search bar to track their Algorand footprint.
A Refocused Strategy: Zeroing In on EVM L2
The combination of our new grant and xChain technology has led to a strategic evolution for ASA Stats.
Historically, our roadmap for extending to other blockchains involved researching candidates across the entire blockchain industry. However, xChain Accounts have changed the game.
Because xChain Accounts so effectively bridge the EVM and Algorand worlds, we are narrowing our immediate cross-chain expansion focus exclusively to EVM L2 networks. While xChain technology has the capability to connect with other ecosystems — which we may explore in the future — EVM L2 is our absolute priority right now.
This technological shift also creates a highly logical partnership opportunity. EVM-based portfolio trackers eager to extend their coverage to Algorand no longer need to invest heavy resources in research and development. Instead, they can easily rely on the ASA Stats API — already recognized by the Algorand Foundation and community as one of the most trustworthy and robust data sources.
Through this synergy, our partners can bring full Algorand portfolio tracking to their users in a matter of weeks. In turn, this allows us to focus our own R&D resources on deploying our portfolio tracking engine on the specific EVM L2s that our future partners find most interesting.
If you are an EVM-based project interested in exploring a partnership or a community member wanting to share your thoughts on this strategy, we would love to hear from you. The Rewards Suite: Our First Step on Any New Chain
The Rewards Suite is more than just a feature; it is a standalone, production-ready infrastructure designed to reward community contributions — such as feedback, bug reports, and research — transparently and verifiably. The retrospective grant formally recognizes the work already completed to fully develop and open-source this suite for Algorand — a dedicated, public-good side project complementing the continuous development of our core engine.

Our fundamental plan for cross-chain expansion remains untouched: whenever we extend our capabilities to another blockchain, our very first move is always developing and deploying a smart contract for that network. Once deployed, we will then publish an update to the Rewards Suite instance used for managing ASA Stats contributions, integrating the new chain seamlessly. Whether we are extending to an EVM L2 independently or alongside a new strategic partner, we will always lay this groundwork first.
While ASA Stats is the first adopter, this suite is built to be a configurable public good for the broader blockchain industry. This allows projects to move past “luck-based” rewards and toward a merit-based system that builds deep community trust.
Looking Ahead
Our journey on Algorand has been defined by persistence and community collaboration. Over the years, the Algorand Foundation and the community have continually validated our efforts through xGov funding — first for our tax reporting tools, then for API high availability, followed by our Permission dApp on the renewed xGov 2.0 platform, and finally, this Rewards Suite proposal. This sustained support, alongside the continued daily usage of the ASA Stats website and mobile app, proves the trust we have built as one of the most reliable and foundational entities on Algorand.
Now, with The Rewards Suite funded and xChain technology breaking down the walls between networks, ASA Stats is poised to become the essential link between the EVM world and the Algorand ecosystem.
Onwards, together. 🚀
