A poetic interpretation of the dance and lyrics..

a shoot spring.. circling girdling.. the bells strum.. feet circling girdling.. eyes and torso folding unfolding in walk.. she enters..

shikanDa.. the peacock crest dancing in fervor.. flowers bloom and the cuckoo sings.. tree sways.. seeds pour.. sprouts dance.. zeal in the air.. spring has arrived!

madana the formless one.. his quiver full of arrows.. with flowers anddesires he strikes.. the five senses at flight..

the elephant walking in ecstasy the nectar notes of spring in the strum of veena..

tree stepping in joy.. quickly unfolds and grows her glances moving with leaves.. in-between smiling gazing at onlookers..

admiring beauty in reflection of morning mist and breeze.. in joy of flowers and birds..

the stars of flowers kissing the skies..

putting every breath in this act one last glance.. she smiles and beholds.. slowly leaving the stage.
