Humility is Not Being Humble, Humility is Meekness

Humility!, what is humility? When I ask myself this question, there is this great light that comes with that thought, a light that is from deep within.

If some of you were asked this question, you probably would say humility is simply being humble. Yea, you may be correct, but it is way beyond that. There are some situations where persons who were once humble became proud and rude to people.

This is because being humble is not enough, there must be a conscious effort to maintain and remain in that state. So humility is not just the act of being humble, humility is the practical while humble is theory

I tell people that you don’t teach humility, it is not something that can be thought in school, humility is life and life is practical, something school we never teach.

Humility is a conscious act and a practical way of living humble. You can’t pretend humility, it’s just a matter of time, the true nature emerges.

Living a life of humility come from the depths of within, it is a nature but when this nature is not reflected naturally, humility is not found.

According to online dictionary, “Humble is someone who is modest, unassuming, and free from arrogance while humility is the actual quality or state of being humble.”

Humility is seeing from other people’s prospective, even though yours is better. It’s putting yourself in one’s shoe in order not to make them feel less of themselves.

Humility is helping to raise others up without first condemning them, humility is compassion, it is a pure heart, it is human feelings, it is love, it is fairness, it is accountability, humility is staying low even though you are high, humility is love, it is kindness, it is value for human life and above all, humility is meekness and fear of God.

When you do not have a meek heart, you can’t have humility. A meek heart is teachable, reasonable, correctable, accountable and it’s Humility.

So, understand that meekness gives birth to Humility. Are you meek in heart? When you have humility, life and everything answers to you positively and speedily.
