Which subjects do well on Medium?

A very brief one this time.

The stories I’ve posted on Medium are a mix of subjects, with no particular order or planning. I just write when I feel like it, maybe with some thought provocation, or information you readers might find useful.

Medium is not an easy place to make money, in fact it’s bloody difficult to get views, and reads are like gold dust (at least for me). However, what I can say is to anyone wanting to make a go of it on here, I have found that any subject matter that has to do with sex, cheating, & relationships, seems to get a huge amount more interest. Not really surprising, but the articles that have got the most impressions have been those ones. I didn’t write them simply to gain reads, I did so because I had something to say.

So there you have it, I told it like it is. If you’re happy writing for no return then that’s cool, that’s what my attitude is on here. But if you’re wanting to make passive income that will actually make a difference, then do some research & find out the most popular subjects on here.

***Just so you know, Medium don’t award stories with this hook kind of subject as it’s a way to get more reads, but I’m simply stating what I can see on my statistics page to help other writers, not benefit from it. Otherwise of course I would have made it a longer read!
