Fragments of What the Heart Has Known

All This I Know that the world is too small, to contain the oceans living inside a pair of eyes, and still, a single tear can drown an entire evening in its quiet salt.

All this I know that the heart was never made for hardness. It was woven from softer things silk-threaded hopes, warm breath against winter skin, the fragile glow of lamps left burning in distant windows. and yet, we teach it to survive inside armor shaped like stone, pretending invincibility while trembling beneath the slightest touch of tenderness.

All this I know that silence has its own weather. It can gather in a room like approaching rain, heavy with the unsaid, until even the air begins aching softly. I know that love does not always arrive loudly.

Sometimes it blooms quietly through the fractures of distance, like wildflowers rising through abandoned pavement, like moonlight spilling gently through the ribs of broken clouds.

And perhaps the tenderest souls are the ones carrying the heaviest shields not because they are cold, but now they have loved enough to understand how deeply the world can wound what remains open.

All this I know that every quiet breaking teaches the heart another language of survival, another luminous way to rise from itself.

And still, despite everything, I continue searching for the softness hidden beneath ruin, for the warmth concealed inside weary hands, for the truth resting quietly within every beautiful contradiction this life places before us.

Because somewhere between grief and wonder, between yearning and becoming, the soul keeps learning how to remain gentle without disappearing.

Happy reading 🌻
