Ever felt like a song understands you better than anyone else ?

We all had nights where a single song felt like therapy.

In everyone’s life there’s that one song that’s not just music - it is a feeling. Sometimes, it understands us better than people do.

To be honest, I don’t always understand the lyrics - but if the vibe connects , I listen to it, no matter the language.

In my opinion music has no language barrier because emotion is universal. Songs don’t need a language to be felt whether it’s Perfect by Ed Sheeran or Channa mereya by Arijit Singh, the emotion hits the same.

Someone from a completely different background can feel the same emotion - even without understanding a single word. Because at the end, we all are humans. That’s why feeling a song matters more than understanding it.

Honestly, I don’t stick to just one type of music. I use it to shift my mood, explore different emotions, and feel their energy.

Sometimes, I turn to Hall of Fame when I need motivation - a reminder that greatness is built step by step. It’s lyrics hit different always and inspires you to do something greater. It gives that energy to wake up again when you feel tired.

And then there are days when I want to feel something deeper, that’s when songs like Channa mereya, Kun Faya Kun, Tum Tak, and Shayad give that deep level of emotion.

Channa mereya expresses the emotion of letting go someone you truly love even when it hurts you.

Kun Faya Kun by A.R. Rahman carries a different kind of emotional depth that only few can understand. Because it has very deeper meaning of life. At your lowest when you feel lost, broken, lonely and everything falls apart, at this point it is the only song that can truly understand your pain. And it gives you a direction towards spirituality and to completely surrender yourself to God.

People with that kind of emotional depth can understand and feel this song truly.

And Songs like Tum Tak and Shayad express the emotion of true and unconditional love.

When confidence is low, I switch the vibe completely - tracks like Hukum , Beast mode, and Power moves bring that energy back. Hukum and Beast mode these both are the creation by Anirudh. His songs gives a different kind of energy. And Power moves is one of the best creation by Honey Singh.

For those moments when life feels like a journey I need to keep moving in, Besabriyaan and The Nights push me forward. Besabriyaan is not just a song, it feels like a quiet conversation with your own journey. And The Nights inspires us to live our lives fully because one day we’ll leave this world.

When I want energy and swagger, I play rap tracks like Desi kalakar, One thousand miles, Brown Rang, and Millionaire by Yo Yo Honey Singh. His music brings a different kind of confidence and High-energetic vibe.

And when all I want peace at night, songs like Akhiyaan, Sajda kaaran, Nadiyon sa, Raatein, Zulf by Mitraz bring a calm vibe that feels rare these days. Their music is very soothing and gives an instant sense of peace. There’s something in their voices that just feels magical. If you want to feel pure peace, I’d definitely recommend to listen and explore their songs.

At one point, Spotify even told me, “ A taste like yours can’t be defined - you’ve listened to 58 genres. I was genuinely surprised after reading that.

And then it hit me - maybe that’s why I rarely get bored of music. I’m always trying to explore something new, something different. Sometimes, I even explore various BGMs just for the experience.

And if there’s a song you think I might be missing, feel free to recommend it - I’d definitely love to listen.

Music is one of our closest friends because it expresses our feelings and emotions we keep buried inside and rarely show to the world. It becomes the only way to express our inner self.

At the end, music is not just something we hear, it is something we live through.

I share stories that feel real. If you enjoyed this, you might like the rest of what I write.
