I have always been a fan of seasons — the end of one means the beginning of another.

Cool weather leads to frosty mornings. Wet days transition into stifling hot nights. There is a predictable progression that provides reassurance.

The same goes for things we are passionate about — don’t wait until the candle burns out before extinguishing the flame.

Today will be my last article for a while.

I may continue to read and comment, but that is still to be determined.

Longing makes the heart grow fonder.

My desire to write has been waning and I don’t want this to become a task.

I am unsure how long the writing hiatus will last — I will let my intuition guide my actions.
