Bathroom cleanliness at the University of Sydney

Students are expressing their displeasure at the state of the bathrooms at Sydney University.

For many students who travel far to get to uni, it can be particularly offensive when the toilets are not clean.

Maggie, first year media post-graduate student, says her least favourite bathroom is in the Old Teachers College, because of the “weird smell”.

She believes there needs to be more work done to keep the toilets clean and useable.

“My favourite bathroom to use is on the third floor of Fisher Library. It’s not particularly clean, but it is the most convenient for me, because I am often at Fisher Library, studying.”
