Global Parents’ Day — Parents: Our First Home

Our parents are our roots, without them, we cannot imagine our existence.

I think we understand how big the responsibility of being parents is only when we become parents ourselves.

Whatever we are today, somewhere our parents are part of it, their love, blessings, care and even scolding, shape us in many ways, sometimes we realize it early and sometimes we understand it very late.

No matter whether our parents are close or far, their love and blessings remain connected to us in some way, many people may not receive complete love from their parents, or life may keep them far away for different reasons, but still, parents hold a special place in the heart.

The love, guidance, care and presence of parents are precious, their true value is often understood by those who don’t have parents with them or have lost them and maybe I am one of them.

One thing you may love most about your parents is that they never stop caring, maybe they do not always express love in a perfect way, but their concern is always there, sometimes it comes through simple questions like, Did you eat or Are you okay? These small things may look ordinary, but they carry so much love and care inside them… right?

But sadly times have changed now, many people feel irritated or annoyed when their parents, whether mom or dad, ask too many questions, some people don’t always have time to answer their parents’ questions or clear their curiosity.

Of course, we can understand that every generation has different struggles, different dreams and different fears. Sometimes children also need to be heard, not judged or compared.

But the question is, whom will parents talk to when they want to understand what is happening around the world?

These days, many things are automated and connected with technology, how will they understand everything if we don’t help them understand ?

After all, everybody does not know everything…

When we were not able to speak or walk — Our parents taught us how to speak and helped us take our first steps, but sadly many people get irritated when talking to their parents, and they don’t help them walk through the stage of life where they need more support, patience, and care.

Dear everyone…

Parents are precious, I don’t think I need to say this, give your parents love, respect, care, time, and whatever you can give from your heart.

If you are far from them, call them, listen to them, don’t wait for Parents’ Day, Mother’s Day, or Father’s Day to show your love, because they never waited for one special day to love and care for you, for them every day with their children is special, filled with responsibility, care and love.

So please respect and love your parents while you can, because the bitter truth is that they will not be with you forever, one day a time comes when all you are left with are memories.
