We’re excited to highlight Tiffany A. Yu, MSc. for our May #VSgetsLit Book Club Giveaway.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting the intersection of mental health and disability awareness by featuring Tiffany A. Yu for our VS Gets Lit(erature) Book Club. Throughout the month of May, we will be giving away a total of four FREE copies of her book, *The Anti-Ableist Manifesto*. Read on for more information about how you could win one of them! Stay tuned to our social media (@VanguardSTEM on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn) for details or find additional giveaway details below.

Tiffany A. Yu is a champion of intersectional disability representation. In her own words she is a “multi-hyphenate disability advocate, entrepreneur, and content creator.” After a car accident at age nine left her arm paralyzed, she now builds the resources and visibility she wished had existed for her growing up. She stepped away from a career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs to be a leading changemaker in the disability advocacy space.
Tiffany is the CEO and Founder of Diversability, a community business of 80k+ members on a mission to elevate disability pride, build disability power, and advance disability leadership. In addition, she also hosts the TIFFANY & YU podcast where she explores all things social impact. At the core of her work is the “Me, We, Us” framework — which ignites change by starting with individual (Me) reflection, moving to community (We) action, and implementing systemic (Us) societal changes. It’s a call beyond mere awareness to one with actionable steps to help build a disability-inclusive world.
