This is Ralphie and June, two hapless hippies trying to make ends meet in the hellscape of Trump’s America.

When the guy at the local pawn shop offers them the chance to drive across America to collect a totally unsuspicious package for a brown envelope stuffed with $70,000 in cash they tilt their head sideways, think a moment, then cry “Okee dokey!”

They uncover a network of grandmas, dealing hashbrowns and strong coffee. When they meet Grandma Chateaugay, Godmother of the Grandmas, her magical hash browns turns their world upside down.

There’s a cast of shady characters from June’s past. And maybe Ralphie’s too, if only he could remember something from before breakfast.

What they don’t know is that there is a sinister, black beret wearing, poetry collective called the Deep Plate who need that totally unsuspicious package just as much as they do. When impresario Roberto Deludo-Custardo finds his online writing platform infiltrated by the Deep Plate, loyalties are challenged, reality is bent out of shape and the newly discovered Mexico looks real good.

When Bandit the Doberman joins their posse, their collective IQ doubles instantly. After a mystical encounter with the Shuid of Minnesota they finally have appropriate footwear.

It’s a road trip into the void. Will they make it out the other side alive?

There’s only one way to find out.
