Building a fintech app with Claude multi-agent orchestration

I’ve had an idea for a fintech app sitting in the back of mind for a while. Truth be told I wasn’t convinced that jumping into the AI race was the right move for me, but the opportunity to build entire companies with these tools is becoming undeniable.

Its hard to sit by idly when I know that I could be using Claude dispatch to build entire products for me while I just live my life. Most good products take time to iterate towards. If I had to hire a team of contractors to help me do this I’d be burning cash monthly on the faint hope that I’m on the right track.

Now I can just throw a few hundred bucks at some subscriptions and spend time working on decision making and workflow architecture while multiple agents act as my startup team. In building my app I am taking the approach of spinning up multiple claude code instances and orchestrating the agents.

Each agent will have a discrete role, representing the traditional roles inherent to the software product development lifecycle:

Design, product, devops, QA, database architect, backend engineer, frontend engineer etc. These agents are integrated into a variety of tools to manage the workflow:

  1. Asana:

I am using this to define intiatives → epics → user stories → technical stories + test cases and potentially roadmap (if needed, haven’t decided if its truly necessary yet)

  1. Github

  2. Canva

  3. Google chrome

Time saving tip — download both the browser extension and the ‘control chrome’ claude connector. You need both.

Things that sucked:

  1. Managing this many agents and getting accurate feedback loops requires a lot of task definition. I plugged in Asana to manage this all. Right now its my task board, with time it will become the teams ‘second brain’ → I’m looking to explore Andrej Karpathys solution to building a second brain.
  2. Claude has seriously limited image and video generation (as of this writing). Do not expect wireframes, and solid design comps out of this. I integrated canva via claude connector to improve this. Heres claudes best try:

Overall I’m excited, and will continue to write about lessons learned while I build this thing.
