The Waxing Crescent Moon will grow from a thin sliver to its familiar crescent shape between July 15th and 21st. This is the time to sow the seeds representing the goals that you set on the New Moon.
It can be helpful to focus on small, manageable personal growth goals that you can work toward achieving during one lunar month. For example, your overall goal might be to strengthen your relationships with friends and family. One specific manifestation of doing that might be to practice paying close attention to the people you’re having conversations with, undistracted by looking at your phone!
You might consider incorporating a rose quartz crystal in your efforts and celebration during this phase. It’s known for cultivating compassion, which is a good place to start when you want to improve relationships with others.
Chrysanthemums symbolize kindness, compassion, and friendship, so they are appropriate for this lunar phase. You could enjoy a small bouquet, which also might be fun to sketch or photograph.
Pink is a good color choice for a candle to burn during this phase. According to Nature’s Garden Crafts, it symbolizes compassion and strengthens relationships.
Enjoy your Waxing Crescent Moon celebration!
