I connect today’s Spelling Bee puzzle with a column from June

The next few days are all likely to be Blasts from the past! as I take a much-needed vacation. Still, if I end up with enough time on my hands, I may try to write a fresh article or two.
But not today.
Today’s Spelling Bee game has the letters A, C, I, L, O, Y, and center F. The same letters appeared last year in October, but Silly Little Dictionary! was on hiatus at the time. Which means I can’t repurpose that column. What I can do, however, is use one of today’s rejected words ––flic–– as a way to connect to an article from the recent past.
Fewer than two months ago, in fact.
On June 30 I wrote an article about flic. Here it is again, for those of you who didn’t catch it originally… or who would like to read it again. I hope you enjoy reading it as much I did researching and writing it.
