Letter to the Woman — Day 3: Dear Woman, Bloom where You are Planted

You are not stuck , you are planted

Dear Woman,

Many times we question our strength — our ability, our potential. We tell ourselves, “ I can’t handle this, maybe tomorrow I will start, maybe next year I will succeed , maybe in coming days I will be ready…” And so we procrastinate, we wait, we shrink. Not because we are incapable but because we doubt ourselves.

Think of a plant, it does not wait for a better garden to grow, it does not murmur about the soil, it does not say I will grow tomorrow, it uses the soil it has.

We have been planted in different work spaces and seasons for a reason. Your talents reveal what you are capable of, your abilities show what you can create, build, and become. Yet, how many times have you told yourself maybe this wasn’t meant for me, this course is hard, this space is for someone else, this job doesn’t fit me…..

I understand I have been there before — procrastinating, leaving work undone, sitting on my talents because of feeling I’m not enough.

But here is what I have learned: the power is already within you, the ability is already within you. Growth is not all about jumping from step one to the last! It is about one at a time. You cannot climb at a staircase by placing one foot on number one and trying to place the other on the last! You have to take a step by step.

So, wherever you are, bloom. If you are in science field, ministry, agriculture, education, writing, motherhood, name them, shine dear one shine. Regardless of where you are even if you are not satisfied — bloom. Take that hard course, take that task, mould that home. Soon you going to get what you wanted but first grow where you are planted in that space.

Stop saying you cannot make it. Stop saying you are not there. You are already on the ladder — climb.

Unleash that talent you have been sitting on.

Unleash that capability you have been hiding.

Unleash that uniqueness that you carry.

Unleash that great idea you have been silent on.

Bloom where you are planted.
