Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming. It seems like you are awake when you are dreaming. Sometimes it can seem very real. It can also happen when you are just about to fall asleep.
At times when I am seated in front of my computer and am very tired and keep writing even when sleepy and fall asleep writing, my head nodding to sleep and in that cusp of awake and sleep, you can see and experiences visuals that are at odds with the self as if one is observing what is happening in another realm. People you don’t know walking and talking, and then I wake up and it stops and then I nod off to sleep again, while seated, and there are scenes from another place and different people and after a while, I am thinking this is cool and fun and look forward to when I am tired in front of my computer and sleepy.
Some strange things happen when you are asleep, and dream like you are awake.
Sleep spindles can be further categorized into two types: fast spindles and slow spindles. These types of spindles are differentiated by their frequencies. Each type originates in a different part of the brain. Fast spindles are higher than 13 Hz and they are found in the centroparietal region, which is near the center of the brain. Slow spindles are lower than 13 Hz and they are more prevalent in the frontal region, or the front of the brain closer to the forehead.

It is all just 1-Thing from being awake to asleep and dreaming. You daydream while awake and you lucid dream while asleep. Meditation is going to sleep while you are still awake. What is all this about — like it is all just one process between the brain and the mind and perception and this “dream of existence” we have in us — even the process of thought and perception and being awake is just a dream in us created by the electromagnetic phenomenon that is the mind.
The body/mind is a phenomenon of the movement of energy in us and information is generated and exchanged and perception is manifested and personalities are created. The phenomenon and the noumenon of the processes of the body-mind — some we can observe the phenomenon and others, the noumenon, work behind the scenes to make these processes work and create and integrate and manifest information and it all culminates as a “dream of existence” in us. Our experiences and perceptions while awake are like a dream of when we are asleep. It is all just 1-thing. That is how we are made.
The term noumenon is generally used in contrast with, or in relation to, the term phenomenon, which refers to any object of the senses.
…the noumenal world remains otherwise unknowable to us.
In philosophy, a noumenon, is a posited object or event that exists independently of human sense and/or perception. The term noumenon is generally used in contrast with, or in relation to, the term phenomenon, which refers to any object of the senses. Immanuel Kant first developed the notion of the noumenon as part of his transcendental idealism, suggesting that while we know the noumenal world to exist because human sensibility is merely receptive, it is not itself sensible and must therefore remain otherwise unknowable to us. In Kantian philosophy, the unknowable noumenon is often identified with or associated with the unknowable “thing-in-itself”
Hence the aim of most mystics is to become a Tathagata:
Hence they meet the noumenon face-on and feel it and sense it in its totally and try and manifest it in them to be a wholly manifested human being.
