‘L’ for ‘Lawson’, ‘L’ for ‘LEADERSHIP.’

A POEM.

Little wonder, we wonder little.

From the rear to the front, All that’s heard sung is, Lawson keeps the law, He wears a garland of peace, He beats the Sun’s scotch, And he turns a whole family into priests.

Through time, I’ve wondered, What does an embodiment of grace look like? With what gait does the walking word stride? From whence comes the man, fervent in spirit, Not slothful in business, serving The Lord?

When we see your face, We’ve seen your heart, Sir. Your heart is always on display, therefore, We look on as you televise righteousness So, we imitate, as is dished out from your leadership.

True leadership knows when the Sun’s rays are a blessing Not more than Mother Hen knows not to murder her chicks, It binds a cord of love about what’s committed, Chiseling to perfection the 1,2 and 5 talents, And then a Nation is born.

Because He knew from the Sun’s first yawn That an expansion Nation he is. All that was needed was a gracious ride through the trails of time, A back bent to labor and servitude, Yet not losing sight of the glory set before him.

They threw in his view dis-attractions, For some, he fell, but for all, grace will tell. They thought they had seen him all, But they never paused to meditate on the Sun’s new ambiance, each day it lets out a shine.

This is because the one who lights his candle and enlightens his darkness is introverted in him waiting for the day of extroversion. That day is upon us, The earnest expectations of the creation are shocked at what they’re now beholding.

Oh, Sir, I forgot for one second, It’s a birthday wish I am typing, right? While these may sound like finely woven laces, I thought to let you know Sir, that each thread consists of truth, of which it is said, ‘you can do nothing against, but for’.

While you may be smiling now, Sir. Do have an amazing birthday Sir. I thought I should remind you how special you are.
