Creativity Parades Under the Guise of Disruption

Seth was channeled by Jane Roberts from 1963 until her passing in 1984. Seth was a future incarnation of Jane, though they also maintained separate identities. I have read many Seth books over the years and collected insightful quotes from them.
Here are some Seth quotes that apply to our current times, along with brief comments from me.
“Creativity often parades under the guise of disruption…”

ME: “Disruption” seems to be a constant. Our world is always in a state of disruption — and is always in a state of creativity. But it also seems like the level of disruption is higher today than normal, and so we should look for (and try to contribute toward) a higher level of creativity.
So where can that creativity come from?
“Individually, as you read your paper, as you watch your television, whenever you look around you and say, ‘Other men are fools’; whenever you look around you and say, ‘The race is ruining itself — it is insane,’ you are doing the same thing — you are jumping into the quicksand, and you cannot help.
“Organize your reality according to your strength; organize your reality according to your playfulness, according to your dreams, according to your joy, according to your hopes . And then you can help those who organize their reality according to their fears.”

ME: Seth encourages us to embrace our hopes positively. That is the essence of his message, which is summarized in his famous phrase, “You create your own reality”. That phrase is the basis of the spiritual approach to ‘manifesting our desires’.
Anyone who has tried manifesting knows it is a lot easier said than done. (See my article on that here.) It requires that we base our most fundamental beliefs on a positive outlook. For example, Seth suggests…
“Some see the end of the world coming as a great disaster, or envision man finally ruining his planet. Others see periods of peace and advance. And each probability will happen — somewhere.”

ME: Seth highlighted the multidimensional nature of reality. Some versions of theoretical physics support the idea that there are multiple versions of the reality we think we know. Without realizing it, at every moment we choose the version of reality that most aligns with our fundamental beliefs.
The crises we encounter help us refine our ability to see and use our beliefs to create our own reality…
“The crisis is a kind of therapy… And you need it now, before your race embarks upon journeys to other physical realities. You must learn your lessons now in your own backyard before you travel to other worlds. So you have brought this upon yourself for that purpose, and you will learn.”

ME: In a somewhat twisted way, the crises we encounter are self-inflicted. They challenge us to question our beliefs. They challenge us to navigate them from a spiritual path. And through that, we grow.
Seth encourages us to trust our ability to change our beliefs — and thereby change our reality. His instructions are simple …
“If you divert your thoughts from the negative ideas to the positive ones, then your concentration will begin to alter the balance. The vast reservoir of energy and potential within you is called into action under the leadership of your conscious mind.”

Quite simply, a belief in good without a belief in evil … is the best kind of insurance that you can have, both during physical life and afterwards.

ME: That does not mean we ignore the injustices we feel. We are who we are, and we act accordingly. But there is also a complex and higher dimensional reality that we are a part of, that we participate in, and that we barely understand.
From the apparent perspective of time (which does not really exist), through the actions we take now, we grow into that higher dimensions of existence.
But that is not always obvious because …

ME: In Seth’s teachings, all dimensions of reality are happening simultaneously. The actions we take now impact our other-dimensional personalities. And their actions shape us here and now. At a deeper level of consciousness, we are fully aware of all those interactions.
From that larger perspective, nothing is random. But for most of us, from our third-dimensional (3D) level of consciousness, randomness seems the only explanation possible.
