last night a thunderstorm arrived

and brought wonderfulness

This morning the front porch is damp and there is a puddle in the driveway of the neighbor to the north of where I live. I love puddles! They say we brought you some noticeable rain, some measurable rain.

And then some of the birds can have a good time in the puddles. I like it when birds are happy. They are wonderful to look at and to hear and to take pictures of and make videos of.

And sometimes they get together many at a time to be on the wires while they talk about the events of the day, or so I assume. Not knowing for sure, I can only assume.

Today I am eating some soup while I type these words. yum And I can hear the electric heater in the kitchen saying I am working to warm things up.

And now for a new sound… rain landing on the kitchen skylight. I stopped typing and put containers on the porch to catch rainwater.

And good news about some indoor plants, some of the pieces of the white Christmas cactus plants have buds starting on them.

I am verrry thankful for each of these events this morning.
