THE JOURNEY IS BEING APPRECIATED

Most Sophisticated Male award received ny Luqman Abdulfatai Adefat from the Great Ife Students’ Union, Office of the Director of Socials and Culture, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

On May 25, 2024, I was honored to receive the Most Sophisticated Male award from the Great Ife Students’ Union, Office of the Director of Socials and Culture, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

This award holds great significance for me. Despite encountering challenges, including an extended duration of study due to circumstances beyond my control, I persevered without dropping out. Over seven years, I am about to complete what should have been a five-year Animal Science course. Throughout this journey, I actively contributed at various levels, from my department and faculty to the broader Great Ife Students’ Union.

My dedication and contributions did not go unnoticed. I was appointed Chief of Staff by the President of the Great Ife Students’ Union, Abbas Ojo. Through this role, I had the privilege of serving the entire Obafemi Awolowo University community, which ultimately led to this recognition.

As my time on campus draws to a close, my commitment to making a positive impact continues unabated. I see this as a new opportunity to contribute meaningfully beyond the university walls.

To everyone, I affirm that our journey doesn’t end here; rather, it marks a new beginning where we aim to leave an enduring impact on the world.
