Riffing on a recipe.

I follow a lot of food pages and am forever saving recipes in my notes. Many I make, some languish there getting pushed further down the list. Eventually I go through the recipes and delete what I know I won’t ever make. I found this recipe on the fabulous Food 52 blog, and knew it wouldn’t be long before I made these.

I kept the same basic recipe, but added an extra egg as I like a cakier brownie, a handful of chopped toasted hazelnuts, and a swirl of salted caramel sauce that I picked up last week from Trader Joe’s.
The results were insanely delicious. I highly recommend making this recipe sooner rather than later, you won’t be sorry.
Here’s the link to the recipe.
