25th May 1997

May our best days, be always be before us; May they always endure, Despite our present circumstances; And may they always carry our hopes and dreams;

May they be gentle in their roughness; May they carry us when we feel like giving up; May they be our lighthouse in the rough seasons of life; And may they be the reason we keep on living and striving;

Turing 29 will always be surreal, Because it feels like only yesterday, When we turned our Jordan year; And now, 6 years apart, seems as fleeting as a lifetime in itself;

But we will always be grateful to the journey and God; And although resentful of our darkest moments and choices, We will always be glad to still be here, Because every day above ground, is another day to keep on pushing;

Here is to a 29, In which we grow and still keep evolving; Here is to a 29, In which we become the best versions of our future selves.
