It works just like SHAREit or Xender, but here we’ll create a small FTP server on your phone to transfer files securely and quickly.

What is FTP?

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol.

Simply put, it’s a system that allows you to access your phone’s files from your computer using a Wi-Fi network.No cable, no Bluetooth, just a Wi-Fi connection.

What You Will Need

An Android phone

A Wi-Fi connection (both your phone and computer must be on the same network) A small FTP server app like WiFi FTP Server (available for free on Play Store)

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Download the App Go to the Play Store and search for WiFi FTP Server or FTP Server. Install the one with the best ratings and most downloads.

Step 2: Connect to Wi-Fi Make sure both your phone and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If they are not on the same network, they won’t be able to communicate.

Step 3: Set Up the FTP Server Open the app and click Start. Your phone will now act as an FTP server.

You will see a link like this: ftp://192.168.0.103:2221

This link is important. You’ll use it on your computer to access your phone files.

Step 4: Connect from the Computer On your PC, right-click on This PC or My Computer, then select Add a network location.

Step 5: Enter the FTP Link Paste the FTP link from your phone (for example: ftp://192.168.0.103:2221). Click Next, then Finish.

Step 6: Done A new folder will now appear in This PC. Open it and you will see all your phone files and folders.

Now you can copy files from your phone to PC or from PC to phone. Everything works with drag and drop, just like SHAREit.
