Day-30 Note of VIth Semester

First hour was human computer interaction according to the updated timetable. Chapter — 4 paradigms is completed, it talks about the paradigm shift in hci overtime. Interaction design basics were started and I found our meanings of new words I came across.

In computer vision, which was relatively better today. Sigmoid activation functions and use cases of other activation functions were said. Number of parameters calculation treating one neuron as a network. How the weighted sum are calculated and the elements of neural network were said. Every neuron has two components — an activation function and sum component. Fundamental questions have to be answered — what actually does bias mean, how it enters the network and why it should be added in the parameters count? Formulas and limitations, have to be explained like I am taking the lecture on it.

Management class dealt with more real life examples of how cola marketed their product . Socio-economic factors were continued and Posters five forces — threat of new entrants, threat of substitutes, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining powers of customers and competitive rivalry.
