If you’ve been scrolling through Netflix lately, you might have noticed a Korean show that everyone seems to be talking about: Culinary Class Wars: Season 2 (also known as 흑백요리사2 / Black & White Chefs Season 2).

It dropped on December 16, 2025, and took off right away — hitting the Top 10 in 28 countries on its first day and ranking 17th globally in the TV category. It also became only the second Korean reality series — after Physical: 100 — to make Netflix’s Global Top 10 for Non-English TV two years in a row.

In this post, I’ll be sharing some of the restaurants in Seoul run by the show’s White Spoon chefs.

Why focus on the “Black Spoon” chefs’ restaurants?

In Culinary Class Wars: Season 2, most of the chefs are actually Black Spoon chefs — 80 out of 100. They may not all have Michelin stars or big-name careers yet, but many of them are already cooking at a level that easily rivals the White Spoon chefs.

That’s what makes their restaurants so exciting to visit. You’re tasting the work of chefs who are still growing, experimenting, and proving themselves — often with flavors and ideas that feel even more bold and personal.
