Tutorial: How to Purchase NFTs on Stargaze

Set up

1. Create a Cosmos Wallet — for this guide, we will use Keplr wallet.
2. Deposit $STARS tokens into your wallet.

Note: If you only have other interchain tokens like $ATOM or $OSMO, don’t worry — we’ll guide you through swapping and sending them seamlessly to Stargaze.

Step 1: Open Stargaze Website

• Enter https://www.stargaze.zone/
• Go to Trade — Marketplace.

• Connect your wallet — Choose Keplr.

Step 2: Get $STARS Token

• Click the Get STARS button.

Note: If you have $STARS available, you can skip this step and proceed directly with purchasing the NFT. In this guide, we will show users how to get $STARS using other tokens.

• Choose the method — in this case, we start with $ATOM balance on Cosmos Hub, aiming to convert them into $STARS tokens and send them to the Stargaze chain. We achieve this by selecting the IBC Swap method.

• Review and confirm Swap.
• Swap successful.

• The balance will be displayed on the dashboard.

Step 3: Purchasing the NFT

• Choose the NFT collection

• You have the option to make an offer via auction (bidding) or buy now.

Note: For this guide, we will purchase what is available, and you can filter the list using the provided button.

• Click Buy Now to view the list of available NFTs for sale.

• Choose an NFT.
• You can opt to place an offer or buy instantly at the listed price.

• Click “Buy” to get the NFT instantly.
• Approve the transaction via Keplr.
• And, It’s done!

Step 4: Checking the NFT collection

• Click your wallet information.

• Your collection will be displayed there.
