As soon as I woke up, I checked the Job opening for contract teachers on the office of Education website. I found that Hamil School, an alternative school, is currently recruiting contract teachers fro Korean and English.

I heard that the school was established by the famous singer, Kim Insun. I was a bit hesitant to apply because I wasn’t very familiar with the school.

While sleeping on the sofa, I fell back asleep and woke up very late. I was surprised to find myself lying in the living room. I was sure that I had gained weight.

Unexpectedly my friend called me and chatted for over 1hour. She was excited at something I don’t know. After her story, I got to know that she was recognized by her private student.

She has been teaching an elementary student English and the student’s mother told her that she wanted her to keep teaching the child until highschool. However, contrary to what the mother had told my friend, she decided to send the child to a different academy. I have learned to take people’s words with a grain of salt.

My friend told me so much about her life and I felt like I was back in my school days. I introduced her to a man who was my friend’s brother-in-law. She still remembers him as a good-mannered gentleman who really listened to her. It was a day of mixed emotions, but it certainly gave me a lot to think about.
