Kenoh issues NOAH challenge to KENTA for New Year

Surprise appearance for NOAH star in Kagoshima

Fans in Kagoshima for World Tag League B Block finals on December 8 were stunned by a sudden appearance of Pro-Wrestling NOAH’s Kenoh, who had a challenge to issue for NOAH’s big New Year’s Day event in the Nippon Budokan.

After KENTA, Chase Owens, Gabe Kidd and SANADA were victorious in eight man action, Kenoh hit the ring, having already made public his intention to wrestle an ‘appropriate opponent’ to start NOAH’s 25th Anniversary year on January 1 2025.

Kenoh said that if KENTA ‘ still had feelings for where you came from,’ he would take the match in the Budokan, and KENTA was quick to accept the challenge. ‘Good on you for coming all the way out here,’ KENTA quipped, before saying he had ‘no reason to turn you down’.

Kenoh said that the ‘simple countryfolk’ of Satsuma City had been witness to the match being made official. ‘I aplogise a little for insulting you folks,’ Kenoh would admit ‘as well as bringing a little NOAH business to NJPW.’ Kenoh went on to say thought that ‘what makes wrestling fun is that anything can happen,’ and suggested that after he beat KENTA on January 1, he could well face the BULLET CLUB member again, this time in an NJPW ring. Kenoh suggested that the fans in Satsuma and aorund the world make their way to see the big NOAH Budokan card, and that to keep things interesting they should ‘come with me’.
