My Brain wasn’t Braining Today

Saturday morning, and I have already spent.

Woke up way too early at 3 am and couldn’t get back to sleep.

No amount of coffee could save me today. This was the kind of day when I turned into a zombie. Barely alive. Breathing but not kicking.

And my half-awake brain was constantly thinking, imagining, and plotting a story on why the chicken wouldn’t cross the road. The result? It was a big, bold disappointment. My brain couldn’t come up with anything. It simply… wasn’t braining.

The chicken ended up having existential crises because they would never see the end of it. They even dreamed of a world when people wouldn’t question their motives.

They even told the duck not to cross the road because they didn’t want their friend to share the same fate as them.

But I couldn’t make it readable enough.

Maybe the last story I wrote yesterday had me running out of juice. Today, all words evaporated from my head. Gone. Puff.

Bored and uninspired.

And my solution involved a sharp object.

Yeah.

I told you a sharp object was involved.

I couldn’t write anything, so I drew instead.

So yeah, no writing. Just a bored writer who spilled her crap in the writing application.
