"Uncle! Uncle Joe, do you have water?" "What?" "Do you have water, Uncle Joe?" "No, I don’t, but yeah, I have a reel of clean fresh water. Will that work for you?" "No, it won’t. See you! See you at Eden!" "Hey, don’t forget to send pictures, buddy! I will share them on social media!"
— — Once there lived a guy named Social Media. He lived with his family in a big mansion and had a company that recruited agents whose work was to contact lazy and jobless people whose life aim was to be the biggest slacker of the universe. Taking advantage of this ability, the company started conducting a tournament named The Slacker Championship. Many lazy and jobless people all over the world took part in the tournament. The criterion for winning the tournament was based on followers—the participant having the most followers would automatically be the winner. To participate in the tournament, candidates used to contact the agents. The agents asked them to fill out a form by which each candidate bound themselves to the terms and conditions given by the company. Each candidate was required to have a special, specific name to enter the tournament. So people used to keep unique and catchy names to get more attention, like "Waste Time with Style!", "Maddy Madding," "Night Life with Ella and Pig." Some were not so creative, so they just kept their real names like "Jobless Benny," "Useless Mark," and "Sinking Kayle." When the company hosted their tournament for the first time, the guy named Stinky Jimmy won the tournament. The host asked him how he was feeling about winning the tournament and what his strategy was for achieving followers. The guy, with great confidence, said he was truly delighted to hear that he was the biggest jobless slacker ever. He told the host that every day he just used to leave a statement warning users to follow him or he would motivate them a lot to work and be hardworking, and by this warning, everyone started to follow him. And like this, the world got its biggest slacker, and the company kept organizing their tournaments. Once there lived a guy named Social Media.
Epilogue- "Social media is bad for health, social media is bad for health, social media is bad for health." "AAAhhh!! What are you doing? Don’t you know social media is bad for health?" "Come on, Dad, it’s not always bad! There are some benefits of social media too, like you can stay in touch with the latest news, trends, and styles. It even helps you by providing guidance, knowledge, and social values." "Wow, Peter, you’re gradually getting smart! So what are you doing right now?" "Ahh, Dad, mm! I am reading." "Wow! Show me what you’re reading!" "Well, Dad, I just finished reading." "Cool, now show me what you have read." "I will tell you after some time." "No, I want to read it now! Give me the damn phone!" "Let’s see how long you’ve been reading." "Really? 10 hours of screen time!?" "Ahh! The phone was reading with me too!" "You spent most of the time watching a girl named Rose! Who’s this Rose?" "Ahhmm! She... she is an educator!" "Ok, let’s check who she is." "Dad, I want to go to the washroom." "No, just stay here. Let me see who this Rose is." "It’s loading!" "Holy crap! porn star!!!!!!"
