Trying to Be Productive Every Day is Actually Exhausting

I’m honestly tired of productivity advice.
Wake up early. Don’t use your phone. Study for hours. Stay focused.
I’ve tried all of it.
For one day, I feel like I’ve got my life together. Then the next day… I can’t even focus for 10 minutes.
And suddenly, I feel like I’ve failed.
But maybe the problem isn’t that we’re lazy. Maybe the problem is that we expect ourselves to be perfect every single day.
That’s just not real.
Some days, I don’t feel like studying. Some days, I’m tired for no reason. Some days, my brain just refuses to cooperate.
And instead of understanding that, I blame myself.
That’s what makes it worse.
Being “productive” all the time feels like pressure. Like if I take a break, I’m doing something wrong.
But what if that’s not true?
What if being productive doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly?
What if it just means doing something?
Maybe studying for 20 minutes is enough. Maybe reading one page is enough. Maybe just trying again tomorrow is enough.
Because honestly, I don’t think consistency means being perfect. I think it just means not giving up.
I’m still figuring this out. I still get distracted. I still waste time.
But I’m starting to understand one thing —
I don’t need to fix my whole life in one day. I just need to not quit the next one.
