Sumi-e is a Japanese style art. It is Zen influenced. Originally, it used black ink sumi on paper washi. The brush was called fude.
It shows the essence of a subject. Nature is the main theme.
Few other colors can be used, but the style is still minimalistic.
Let me share mine.
